The pass-and-play social deduction party game where you have to blend in — even when you have no idea what's going on.
One phone. One secret word. One (or more) imposters who don't know it. Can you give clues that prove you know the word — without making it so obvious the imposter figures it out?
One device is all you need. Pass the phone around the circle — everyone taps to secretly reveal their role. No accounts, no logins, just tap and play.
Most players know the secret word. The imposters don't. Give one-word clues and figure out who's bluffing — without giving yourself away.
Hundreds of words across dozens of categories. Animals, movies, sports, food, and more. Or create your own custom word lists for infinite replayability.
No tutorials needed. Pick up the phone and jump right in.
Pass the phone around. Everyone taps to reveal a card. Most players see the secret word and its category. The Imposter(s) only see "Imposter" and the category — they have no idea what the word actually is.
Going around the circle, each player says exactly one word associated with the secret word. Too obvious? The imposter figures it out and wins. Too vague? Everyone thinks you're the imposter.
Discuss the clues, debate who seems suspicious, then pass the phone around to vote secretly. The player with the most votes is eliminated — imposter or not.
+1 pt if you vote out an Imposter. +2 pts if you're an Imposter who survives the vote. +1 pt if you're a caught Imposter who can correctly guess the word. Scores carry over on your persistent scoreboard — play until you crown a winner.
Modes and options that keep every round fresh and unpredictable.
Animals, Movies & TV, Food, Jobs, Places, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Sports, Holidays, US Presidents, Musical Instruments, Weather & Nature, and more — 1,200+ words across 34 packs, every one with a unique, flavorful hint.
Build your own word lists for inside jokes, niche interests, or themed game nights. Perfect for parties where everyone knows the same obscure references.
The number of imposters changes randomly every round. Set a chance percentage and never let anyone feel safe again. One round might have a single imposter — the next could have three.
A round where nobody is the imposter. Everyone sees the word, but nobody knows everyone is innocent. Watch the paranoia unfold as someone gets voted out anyway — and nobody loses points.
Keep rounds moving with an optional per-player countdown. Set it anywhere from 5 seconds to 10 minutes per player — or turn it off and take all the time in the world.
Track wins across sessions. Your group's scores persist between games so you can run ongoing tournaments or see who's been the best imposter over time.
